Unlike container-based platforms such as OpenVZ or LXC, every KVM VPS runs as a fully independent virtual machine with its own kernel, its own operating system, and dedicated resources. The CPU cores, RAM, and NVMe storage included in your plan are reserved exclusively for your server — neighboring customers on the same host cannot borrow them, so performance stays predictable even under sustained load.

Because each server boots its own kernel, you get unrestricted root access: install any Linux distribution or custom kernel modules, run Docker and Kubernetes without workarounds, and configure VPNs, firewalls, or custom network stacks exactly as you would on physical hardware.
